Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Responsibilities include greeting patients in the dental office, setting up instruments, equipment and materials, sterilizing instruments according to regulations, assisting the dentist through 4-handed dentistry, fabricating temporary crowns, undertaking lab tasks as instructed, providing oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions, ordering dental supplies, keeping the dental room clean and well-stocked, and other tasks as assignedThis is a long term stable position for the right candidate.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in California is preferred.
X-ray certification required.
CPR certification is a plus.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Proficiency in dental software and digital radiography.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
