Host Responsibilities:
Host will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, making reservations, properly adhering to company standards, with guest hospitality the main focus, while coordinating proper restaurant flow throughout each shift.
Managing and planning reservations in Opentable.
Assigning tables for each shift ensures proper flow of restaurant and cover counts to each server, notifying the management team of VIPs, large parties and guest notes. Adhering to company policies for allowing large parties and amount of reservations taken at any given time.
Maintaining proper appearance of the restaurant.
Answer phones in a friendly and professional manner.
Organize and accommodate guest reservations and requests.
Accurately quote wait-times to guests.
Facilitate take-out and delivery order fulfillment.
Able to speak knowledgeably about the restaurant and our offerings, as well as sister properties as recommendations when fully booked.
Side-work as assigned.
Host Qualifications:
Outgoing personality, strong organizational and communication skills, friendly, highly motivated, ability to multitask, Opentable and restaurant experience a plus but not required.
Server:
- Assist in preparing the restaurant for dining service by setting up section, including preparing items such as linens, silverware, and glassware
- Greet all guests in a warm, personal, friendly manner
- Review menus with guests and answer any questions about menu items, offering descriptions and making recommendations, preparations, ingredients, etc.
- Take guests' food and beverage orders and enter orders into computer accurately
- Check guests' identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcohol
- Serve food and beverages to guests, taking extra care to perform any additional table-side preparation or service as required for items served including preparing certain hot and cold non-alcoholic beverages for guests
- Check with the guests to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
- Pre-bus dishes and glasses from tables and take them to the kitchen for cleaning, prep the table for the next guest
- Prepare and present guests' checks according to policy, ensuring any special requests are followed (such as split checks), and collect corresponding payments
- Assist the entire service team throughout the meal period to ensure all guest's expectations are exceeded
- Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, iced tea, tableware, share plates, and silverware, fill salt, pepper, sugar, cream, condiment, napkins, and drink garnishes.
- Must be dependable, report to work as scheduled and on time, and follow all policies regarding scheduling and attendance.
Server Qualifications:
Outgoing personality, customer oriented, strong organizational and communication skills, friendly, highly motivated, ability to multitask and work under pressure, Focus and restaurant experience a plus but not required.
Bartender Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing the bar for service by setting up bar and bar area; including preparing items such as linens, silverware, and glassware, stocking liquors, changing kegs, preparing garnishes, and preparing drink mixers.
- Greet all guests in a warm, personal and friendly manner.
- Review menus with guests seated at the bar and answer any questions about menu items, offering descriptions and making recommendations, preparations, ingredients, etc.
- Inform guests of daily specials including pricing if not listed on the menu. Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.
- Check guests' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
- Monitor guests' physical condition when entering the restaurant and bar; monitor alcohol consumption while on the premises to ensure all ABC policies are followed.
- Take appropriate steps according to ABC policies to reduce the occurrence of alcohol related issues.
- Take guests' food and beverage orders and enter orders into computer accurately
- Prepare, garnish, and serve drinks for guests seated at the bar in an expeditious manner.
- Check with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their food and drink items, and take action to correct any problems.
- Remove dishes and glasses from the bar and take them to the kitchen for cleaning.
- Prepare and present guests' checks according to policy, ensuring any special requests are followed (such as split checks), and collect corresponding payments.
- Polish and restock all glassware as needed.
- Restock all bar items including wine, beer, condiments, etc., clean entire bar area including bar top, glass washer, stock ice, etc.
- Must be dependable, report to work as scheduled and on time, and follow all policies regarding scheduling and attendance.
Bartender Qualifications:
Outgoing personality, customer oriented, strong organizational and communication skills, friendly, highly motivated, ability to multitask and work under pressure, Focus and restaurant experience a plus but not required.
