We are seeking recent high school graduates to tutor small groups of 4-6 high school students in AP Calculus. Tutoring sessions will take place 2-3 times per week at the local library, offering a flexible schedule. If you have a passion for helping others succeed in math, this is a great opportunity to gain valuable teaching experience while making a positive impact on students’ academic journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead group tutoring sessions, focusing on AP Calculus material.
Provide personalized assistance and clarify challenging concepts.
Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
Monitor student progress and adjust tutoring methods accordingly.
Requirements:
Recent high school graduate with strong math skills.
Must have scored at least a 4 on the AP Calculus exam.
Friendly, patient, and able to communicate effectively with high school students.
Available to tutor 2-3 times per week for at least the next 6 months.
Tutoring experience preferred but not required
