We are actively seeking a confident, capable individual to join our team as a mentor to our students. This is a part-time position in between seasonal group program. Full time during seasonal group programs.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, flexible, strong administrative and research abilities, and the motivation to work independently. Responsibilities include welcoming students, coordinating group activities, and managing administrative tasks precisely.

FOA provides English courses, numerous activities, and living with local families. FOA has groups of students during fall, winter, Spring, and summer break.

Individual students for volunteer programs or attending local Universities throughout the year.

Fun Opportunity Abroad is looking for a new team member to help create lifelong memories for our future students. Your position will be a mentor to FOA's Fun Opportunity Abroad, which confidently welcomes international students to Southern California, offering them the chance to immerse themselves in the English language and American culture fully. Having successfully hosted hundreds of students, we are proud to provide top-quality English courses, diverse activities, and the Opportunity to live with local families. Our programs are available during fall, winter, spring, and summer breaks, and we also accommodate individual students for volunteer programs or university attendance throughout the year.

We are now actively seeking a confident and capable individual to join our team and contribute to creating unforgettable experiences for our future students. As a mentor to our students, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's culture.

The perfect candidate will exude exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a helpful and empathetic nature, and the ability to think creatively. Strong administrative and research skills are equally vital, alongside the motivation and capability to work independently. This role requires using a car and availability for occasional student transportation when needed.

Responsibilities include warmly welcoming new students, seamlessly coordinating with groups at different locations, supporting teachers, homestay coordinators, and host families, and fostering a positive and enjoyable student environment during group activities.

On the administrative front, you will be entrusted with tasks such as data entry, creating a new database for host family profiles, researching and booking activities for future programs, ensuring seamless transportation and vendor bookings, and overseeing organizational arrangements with unwavering precision. Students play a vital role in the culture of the company.

Examples of responsibilities with students;

Help assist new students' arrival and orientation

Check-in with groups in different locations during programs.

Help assist teachers, homestay coordinators, and host families when needed

Create a positive and fun environment with students during group programs.

Administrative responsibility

Data Entry: creating a new database for the host family's profiles

Research new activities and booking activities for future programs

Assist with transportation and Vendor booking

Detail-oriented and overseeing organizational bookings students, coordinating group activities, and managing administrative tasks precisely.
