CBI Child Development Center is a dynamic child-focused Reggio Inspired preschool located in Tustin, California. We are currently looking for experienced, nurturing, and passionate preschool teachers to work in our preschool. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children in a nurturing, play based learning environment.
DUTIES:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development in children
- Manage classroom experiences and daily routines effectively
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress
- Observe and assess the development of the children
-Participate in parent/teacher conference
-Model appropriate behaviors and language for the children
-Work collaboratively with all staff to ensure a cohesive and quality learning environment
REQUIREMENTS:
-Minimum of 15 Early Childhood units
- Two years experience in a Reggio-Inspired Preschool preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
-Complete a physical examination (LIC 503) and provide proof of immunizations and current TB test.
-Complete Child Abuse Mandated Reporter
-Live Scan and Criminal Background Clearance
-CPR/ FIRST AID
-Physical Requirements include the ability to lift, carry, move weights ranging from 10-40 pounds, bending at the waist, kneeling, sitting on the floor, and participate in children's play.
