We are conducting a research study to understand how people use and perceive crime-reporting mobile apps and to improve their design and functionality. The study will involve:
The research will be conducted Remotely using MS Teams or Zoom:
A 30-minute interview to discuss your experiences with crime-reporting apps.
A 20-minute usability testing session where you interact with an app.
A 10-minute follow-up survey to provide feedback.
Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking participants who:
Are urban residents living in Orange County, California?
Have used crime-reporting apps (e.g., Ring, Citizen, or similar).
Are comfortable using a computer or smartphone for online tasks.
Can commit to a 1-hour session (interview, usability testing, and survey).
