Product Analyst (Pacific Investment Management Company LLC (PIMCO) – Newport Beach, CA); Multiple positions available: Offered salary range is $71,635 to $110,000 per year. Participate in a development program designed for a career in investment management, providing broad exposure to financial markets, product design / development and distribution, portfolio analysis, and/or client communication. Work with one or multiple specialty teams that focus on covering specific investment strategies or conducting broader client portfolio analyst and optimization. Responsible for market and economic updates, portfolio commentaries, client portfolio analytics/investment strategies, competitor intelligence, client presentation materials, and risk and performance attribution. Work within the Product Strategy Group, a global team of over 130 professionals responsible for financial market expertise (both internally and externally), strategic business management, entrepreneurship, and marketing for a wide range of PIMCO product lines. Position based in Newport Beach, CA. Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day per week.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. Education, training, or experience must include the following: Working in financial markets, macroeconomics, and investment finance; Performing financial and risk analysis; Developing and presenting investment materials to clients; Strategizing investment and building models for client portfolios; and Advanced Excel and PowerPoint. Experience may be gained concurrently. Position based in Newport Beach, CA. Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day per week.
