Freight/Operations and Accounting
Codra Enterprises, Inc. (www.codra.com) is looking for a professional, motivated, and all-around freight/operations coordinator and accountant to join our growing and fast-paced company located in Orange County, CA.
Primary Responsibilities:
Obtain and negotiate freight quotes with freight forwarders
Arrange freight shipments and track transit schedule
Monitor tariff/duty fees, codes and rates
Manage shipping and custom clearance documents
Prepare commercial invoices and customs invoices
Enter purchase orders and vendor invoices in accounting system
Perform accounts receivable billing
Secondary Responsibilities:
Assist with warehousing operations, inventory, receiving and shipping
Be proficient with ERP software and operations
Provide support for IT, internet, and emergency plans
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree, junior college or equivalent
Few years of related work/operation/accounting experience
Knowledge of the freight industry is a plus
Detail oriented, organized, accurate, and punctual
Must be able to multi-task and track multiple projects
MS Office and/or Google Suite (excellent spreadsheet skills a plus)
Possesses professional attitude with collaboration and teamwork skills
Self-starter who shows initiative, is resilient, and takes responsibility
Excellent communication skills
Other Details:
Full time position
Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
