Job Description:
We are looking for a Data Entry Accounting Clerk to join our Accounting Department in our Irvine office. Applicants must be detail oriented, professional, and team players with the ability to handle multiple tasks. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and verifying financial data into our accounting system.
Responsibilities:
Accounts receivable – process customer premium payments
Accounts payable – pay invoices
Journal entries
Assist the Accounting manager
Remote bank deposits
Review and reconcile discrepancies within Accounts receivable
Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, responsible, and good at basic math
Experience with Excel preferred
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
Education and Experience:
This position requires at least one year of accounts receivable experience, ideally with an insurance, finance or servicing company
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred but not required)
