Top Notch Co is a Landscape Lighting and Irrigation Company that is currently in search of an Accountant/Bookkeeper to join its team. As an accountant at Top Notch Co, your duties will include but not limited to, managing the company's financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring that the company's financial transactions are properly recorded. You will also be responsible for managing the company's payroll, and other financial obligations. Bilingual is a plus (ENG/SPAN) but not required.
Responsibilities:
-Manages all Accounts Payable functions including verifying and processing vendor invoices, check requests and expense reports for payment by assigning appropriate Job, Job cost codes, GL Account, etc.
-Manage all Accounts Receivable functions including customer invoices, payment processing.
-Manage all Purchasing responsibilities including ordering and tracking materials and services required to support the business.
-Assist with Payroll
-Assist with closing procedure, month, quarterly, and year-end closings.
-Assist with miscellaneous administrative duties.
Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience (seasoned)
-Must have full working knowledge of Excel and Quickbooks
-Must be HIGHLY detail oriented, organized and possess great time management skills
-Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
-Ability to work independently (self-starter)
-Able to come in once a week
