AECOM Technical Services, Inc., is seeking a Mechanical Engineering II in Orange, CA.Job details:Fire protection engineer position working with a multidisciplinary architecture and engineering team on a variety of challenging projects.Prepare basic deliverables and products such as presentation materials, calculations, design drawings, specifications, cost estimates related to fire protection engineering.Review applicable codes and criteria and examine field conditions as required to support development and completion of projects.Apply knowledge of the IBC and associated I-codes, as well as NFPA codes and standards including NFPA 13 and NFPA 14.Utilize AutoCAD and Revit software to develop construction documents.Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, preparing technical memoranda and client presentations.Prepare engineering calculations to support the design of fire protection systems.May telecommute.
