Sr. Tax Accountant

Description Robert Half, Management Resources is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join a large midmarket company in Irvine, CA on a 4–6-month contract. This role is 100% onsite and focuses on property tax compliance, filings, and audits. The ideal candidate will have experience in property tax reporting, reconciliations, and business license renewals, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Key Responsibilities:-Prepare and maintain property tax workpapers.-File property tax returns accurately and on time.-Process property tax payments and ensure compliance with deadlines.-Review property value notices and assessments, ensuring accuracy and addressing discrepancies.-Prepare and file monthly and quarterly tax returns.-Handle business license renewals and ensure compliance with local regulations.-Perform reconciliations and financial analysis related to property tax liabilities.-Support internal and external property tax audits, responding to inquiries and providing necessary documentation.Requirements -3+ years of tax accounting experience, with a focus on property tax preferred.-Strong knowledge of property tax laws, filings, and compliance.-Experience with tax reconciliations and audits.-Proficiency in Excel and tax software.-Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.-Ability to work 100% onsite in Irvine, CA.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
