Location: NewarkTemp to PermSchedule: Friday-Tuesday 5am-1:30pmHourly: $23.50 Have everyone following the safety DO’s and Don’ts and stay safe Help drive Quality over Quantity Controls outbound schedule and DOT paperwork in absence of clerk- must have computer knowledge Assists in de-escalating conflict to maintain a calm and productive environment Motivates the team to do the right thing and reports any issues to the supervisor or management team Leads with a positive and supportive attitude and helps to remove bottlenecks Assist Supervisor with day-to-day tasks Trains employees to processes and procedures Escalate any policy violations to the management team for further investigation Works with the team to complete tasks and projects by set deadline Responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and location accuracy Promotes a safety culture with direction from the management team and escalates any safety concerns to supervisor Stops unsafe behaviors as they happen. Leads safety initiatives by example and reports any near misses, unsafe behaviors, or accidents to supervisor right away for further investigation. Prevent loads from inquiring detention charges (2 Hours) by ensuring each driver is loaded according to their pickup appointment and in a timely manner Supports 6S compliance through warehouse and office spaces and assists daily auditing requirements Day to day pass downs from shift to shift Monitors customer communication lines and responds where needed in a timely manner Research & assist with operational issues Responsible for verifying Sorting, loading and put away accuracy Participates in Daily meetings and weekly safety meetings Completes any assigned reports or KPI data Complete other duties as assigned by leadership teamPay Details: $23.50 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
