We are designated as a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital and are accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health care Organizations. For more information visit www.mercy.org.ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:The Float RN is a licensed professional care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability for groups of patients in multiple nursing units for designated time frames and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self the nursing process the environment/instrumentation and other health care team members. Must maintain required competencies for all units of assignment.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:1 year or equivalent hours of critical care (ICU OR ER) experience within the last 3 yearsCalifornia RN licenseBLS certification and ACLS certification (both must be completed through an AHA authorized training center)Preferred Qualfications:More than 2 years of acute care experience as a registered nurseBachelors Degree in NursingPay Range$51.73 - $64.90 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
