You’ll enable our customers to access, manage and connect their accounts and data, while seamlessly navigating throughout the ecosystem.This design research role is available in either the Bay Area, CA (Mountain View office) or San Diego, CA and requires hybrid-in-person work or being in the office 2 days per week. What you'll bring
Deep understanding of user research best practices and expertise in a broad range of methods including: interview, contextual inquiry, usability, competitive analysis, survey, and behavioral/clickstream analysis.
Skilled moderator who can get to the root cause of issues and understand customer’s mental models through deep inquiry. Able to effectively adapt and work off script to explore the most meaningful information.
Able to analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative information, triangulate data across multiple studies and present actionable insights and recommendations to the stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills to tell a clear, concise and well-organized story of the research bringing the insights to life.
Strong leadership qualities that enable you to influence and lead cross-functional teams and third-party partners in research activities.
Organized, self-directed, and efficient, with the ability to plan and execute on long-term research and manage multiple complex projects in a timely manner.
Portfolio that includes examples of leading strategic research with significant business outcomes.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent real-world experience
At least five years of industry experience as a hands-on design researcher in a professional environment
Design thinking expertise, workshop planning, and facilitation experience expertise is a plus.

Accelerate game-changing design by leading strategic research that provides actionable insights around emerging technologies. Help cross-functional teams apply those insights to create delightful, innovative offerings.
Effectively support cross-functional partners on the most strategic initiatives that have the largest business and customer impact.
Plan and conduct all phases of research, utilizing a wide variety of methodologies, to help teams better understand the needs of the customer and identify the biggest opportunities to pursue.
Guide product managers and designers in refining their questions and assumptions into clear research goals and learning plans and providing strong research expertise to ensure we are asking and answering the most strategic questions.
Educate product teams on quality research and scale community knowledge around research methods and practices.
Bring a holistic end-to-end customer perspective to influence stakeholders and cross-functional teams and advocate for customer needs and connect learnings from across the Intuit ecosystem to ensure seamless, delightful customer experiences.
