Looking for Gate Technicians:
CCOI is looking to add Gate Techs to our growing family. We are looking for experience in the following items and job duties. Job includes traveling in company vehicle around the Bay Area and Monterey County, M-F 8am-8pm, overtime available, pay DOE. An Automatic Gate Installer Technician installs, maintains, and repairs automated gate systems, including swing, slide, and barrier gates, as well as access control and security features. They work with various gate types, electrical systems, and low-voltage components. This role requires both physical strength and technical expertise in electrical terminations, equipment installation, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation:
Installing new automated gate systems, including setting up hardware, wiring, and connecting electrical components.
Maintenance:
Performing routine inspections, lubrication, and adjustments to ensure optimal gate operation and prevent issues.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnosing problems with gate systems, including motors, sensors, and control panels, and identifying effective solutions.
Repair:
Conducting repairs and replacements of faulty parts, ensuring the reliable operation of the gate system.
Site Preparation:
Preparing sites for gate installation, including digging post holes, trenching, and pouring concrete.
Safety Compliance:
Ensuring all work is performed safely and in accordance with safety standards.
Customer Interaction:
Providing excellent customer service by responding to service requests, communicating clearly with clients, and addressing their concerns.
Technical Skills:
Working with electrical systems, low-voltage wiring, gate operators, access control systems, and security integration.
Physical Requirements:
The job may involve physical labor, including lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
Other Duties:
May include welding, operating construction equipment, and participating in on-call rotations.
