Cal-Sierra Technologies, Inc., an industry leader in corporate technology solutions, presently is seeking Field Service Technicians/Engineers for the field service team. The technicians/engineers are responsible for the installation and maintenance of high-speed computer printing devices located in customer-centric environments.
Roles and Responsibilities
ª Perform installation of computer printing equipment at end-user customer sites
ª Perform installation of related device drivers and network protocol configurations
ª Train key personnel/end-users on proper operation of print devices
ª Diagnose and perform preventive maintenance and repairs at end-user customer sites
ª Manage assigned inventory, monitor supply levels and usage, including customer's managed print supplies
ª Complete and submit service reports and relevant electronic documents in a timely manner as dictated by your manager/the company
ª Provide "world class" customer service while on-site and when interacting with site personnel
ª Manage time, schedule/organize work activities while ensuring efficient operations
Requirements/Qualifications
ª Associate Degree in Electronics, IT Networking, Computer Science, or relevant discipline with 2 years of applicable experience or Bachelor Degree in relevant discipline with 0 years of applicable experience or equivalent Military experience/training
ª Strong electro/mechanical aptitude
ª Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite, connectivity, and basic networking
ª Knowledge of/experience with servicing printer brands: HP, Lexmark, Printronix, Xerox, Zebra
ª Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment
ª Valid California driver's license, reliable vehicle, clean driving record
