The right person for this role uses initiative, confidence, and customer service to maintain and grow accounts with nationally and locally recognized organizations within the agriculture and produce industries.
Project management skills and client delivery experience are imperative for managing communications and information flow between suppliers, distributors, sales and purchasing to ensure proper care of perishable goods throughout the supply chain lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and manage exclusive accounts with existing clients in the produce and agriculture sectors.
Build new business with nationally and locally recognized clients.
Negotiate and close new business focusing on long term client retention.
Manage communications and information flow between suppliers, distributors, procurement, sales and internal departments
Prepare purchase orders for product sourcing.
Coordinate logistics of freights and deliveries to ensure proper shipping and cold chain management.
