Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Retail Store Manager to lead the team at our Carmel location. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys meaningful customer interaction, understands boutique retail, and has the leadership skills to guide a small team. You will oversee daily operations, drive sales, and help create an inspiring and welcoming store environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Benefits: Generous employee discount

Schedule: Must be available to work weekends and holiday periods. Store closes daily at 6pm.

Experience:

Retail management: 2 years (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service

Manage day-to-day operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and register oversight

Monitor inventory and coordinate reorders; ensure the store is well-stocked and organized

Support visual merchandising in collaboration with the company’s merchandising lead

Assist with hiring, training, and mentoring team members

Schedule and manage staff shifts to maintain strong store coverage

Handle customer questions, concerns, and feedback with professionalism

Coordinate with the elizabethW corporate office on inventory, promotions, and store updates

Qualifications

Experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or in a similar retail leadership role is preferred

Strong organizational and communication skills

Proficiency with cash register systems and Apple computers is a plus

Experience in specialty retail, fragrance, or personal care is a bonus

Must be self-motivated, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting

A collaborative, positive team spirit is essential
