Dental Scheduling Coordinator / Dental Assistant – Full-Time or Part-Time

We’re an established, modern, and state-of-the-art Periodontal Specialty Practice seeking an experienced Dental Scheduling Coordinator with Dental Assisting skills to support both the front desk and minor clinical duties as needed.

This is a unique hybrid role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and is passionate about patient care and efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

An organized, tech-savvy, and personable professional who:

Has experience in dental scheduling and administrative duties

Holds a Dental Assisting Certification and X-ray License

Can step in for minor clinical tasks (e.g., sterile processing, room setup/breakdown) when needed

Enjoys creating a positive patient experience both in person and over the phone

About the Position:

Flexible Schedule: Full-time or part-time

Travel Option: Willing to travel up to 1 hour to our second location for additional hours if desired

Daily Duties Include:

Managing appointment scheduling and confirmations

Communicating with patients and dental providers to ensure efficient flow

Handling insurance verifications and documentation

Utilizing technology tools (Dentrix, DSN Perio Exec, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.)

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ dental office experience preferred

Dental Assisting Certification and current X-ray License

High proficiency with dental scheduling software and general tech tools

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

A positive, can-do attitude and excellent multitasking ability
