Robata Grill & Sake Bar, at the Barnyard in Carmel, CA, is looking for an experienced cook. We are a family-owned restaurant looking for an individual to work the dinner shift, 3PM-9PM, Monday through Saturday. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with our business and who is looking for positions with upward mobility.
Essential job requirements and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Sound knowledge of cooking methods and techniques
The ability to work in a team
The ability to follow recipes
The ability to stand for extended periods of time
Strong sense of warmth and hospitality
Sincere desire to provide guests with best possible service and experience
Interest and pride in learning about food, wine and sake
Efficient and safe work practices
Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Clear communication skills
ServSafe food handling certification
