Data Entry Clerk

Description We are searching for a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Santa Barbara, California. The primary role of the Data Entry Clerk will be to manage and ensure the accuracy of large volumes of information, handle customer inquiries, and monitor customer accounts. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of customer applications Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner Monitor customer accounts and undertake appropriate action as necessary Utilize software tools such as Salesforce and MS Office Suite to perform tasks Perform various calculations as required in the role Organize files and maintain a systematic filing system Execute data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy Manage email correspondence with customers and team members Ensure all typed documents and communications are accurate and well-presented.Requirements Must have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Proven experience with data entry tasks Ability to organize files effectively Demonstrated customer service skills Proficient in email correspondence Ability to perform calculations accurately Experience with scanning documents Typing skills, including 10 key skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication skills, both written and verbal High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
