Reports to: Commercial Electrical Project Manager
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Compensation: TBD and dependent on experience
Purpose:
Seeking Commercial Electrical Journeymen to complete contacted work in the field. This position is under the direct supervision of the Electrical Project Manager. Applicants must be reliable, able to read construction plans, follow a demanding schedule and manage a team of apprentice-level electricians on the job. Millcreek’s Commercial Electrical Journeymen must be able to give directions and follow safety and efficiency protocols. You must have your Journeyman card or have 5+ years of verifiable experience in commercial electrical work. Candidates should be highly motivated, dedicated, and career-oriented. Our Commercial Electrical Journeymen are responsible for leading a single electrical crew of up to two apprentices and championing Millcreek’s Core Values of:

Ability to analyze construction drawings and related documents
Able to hit strict timelines
Able to collaborate with suppliers and sub-contractors in developing estimates
Great attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to maintain a high level of customer service.
Able to work creatively, independently, and collaboratively as a team member and be able to multi-task and prioritize projects.
Excellent Oral and written communication skills

Experience:
Experience in the electrical trade and electrical systems(required)
Ability to read and understand architectural, mechanical, electrical, and structural plans.
Ability to accurately perform all duties of commercial electrical work: underground, panels, lighting, etc.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Able to problem solve and prioritize tasks
Excellent communication skills.
Prolonged walking, standing, and climbing ladders.
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. while using appropriate lifting techniques and following all safety rules.
