IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Laboratory Analyst - Chemistry position at its facility in Modesto, CA.
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field (required)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with data entry and computer applications
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Exhibit excellent attendance and flexible to changing duties and work schedules
Strong attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 45lbs above waist level
Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory
Laboratory Analyst duties include: HPLC testing, sample preparation, reagent preparation, analytical testing via instrumentation, data entry, laboratory reporting, quality control, and other duties as assigned.
The pay rate for this position is $22.00 Hourly. Full-time employees are eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability insurance, 401(k), health and dependent care FSA plans, employee assistance program, 15 days of paid time off per year for sick leave and/or vacation, 3 days paid bereavement leave, and 6 paid holidays per year.
Applicants must be willing to work some shifts with overtime and some shifts on weekends. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 7:00am - 3:30pm.
