Hometown Tile and Stone is seeking a skilled and experienced Tile Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tile installation with proven craftsmanship and attention to detail. This role involves preparing surfaces, cutting tiles, and installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles in various settings while ensuring high-quality finishes.
Responsibilities:
Measure and prepare installation areas for tiling.
Cut and fit tiles using power tools and tile cutters.
Install tiles on floors, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
Apply grout with the appropriate tools, and perform finishing touches.
Ensure all installations meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
Work with clients to discuss project requirements and provide advice on tile selection and design.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in tile installation.
Proficiency in using tools required for tile cutting and installation.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design specifications.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
