role will be expected to contribute on job sites in Northern California,
Southern California, The Southwest US, and Pacific Northwest US. This is a
travel-based position.Job
durations will range from 3-7 weeks and will be undertaken by a
cross-functional team of 4-20 members handling all trades required to get the
work done, together. Team will be expected to push the limits of construction
technology and techniques, and as such will have direct feedback contact with
designers, project managers, and business developers related to the
program. Skills in all areas of electrical are not necessarily required
but the job can and will involve a variety of electrical disciplines. A strong
candidate will be open minded, and mission driven.Skills/Experience/ResponsibilitiesThis position will
require a hands-on individual who can meet the job duties listed below:
Display a positive attitude and practice good work

Express leadership and being proactive when handed new
projects.
Experience is tracking material, keeping the job sites
clean and organized for efficiency and safety purpose.
Must have ability using trade tools and meters to
perform the work.
Consulting manuals, read, interpret and use complex
electrical schematics and blueprints to plan work scopes, install
requested improvements, and troubleshoot and correct problems.
Complete tasks in a timely manner and provide feedback.
Ability to use technology i.e. basic computer literacy.
Additional duties required as needed
Attend new hire training as well as ongoing
training sessions and weekly team meetings on new products, installation
methodology and safety
Maintain a clean job site
Deliver exceptional customer experience at each
installation
Electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC and
DC)
Layout and assist in the assembly of solar
modules / array, mounting hardware, and electrical equipment.
Certifications/diplomas
CPR-first aid
OSHA 10 (required) Osha 30 (preferred)
Knowledge in safety
Experience in equipment operation, certificate
preferred (scissor lift…)
Physical demands and
work environmentThe employee may require the ability to do the following:
Lift 50 lbs. from ground and pull 50 lbs. of
force.
Perform ladder climbing, wire pulling and conduit
pulling.
Fully squat, stoop or kneel while wearing a 25 lbs.
tool belt.
Maintain a standing position for long periods of time
while performing repetitive actions
Work off ladders, man lifts or reach booms
Requirements
Solar or construction experience 0 - 3 years
Ability to work in challenging environments
(hot sun, cold, wind, tight spaces, etc.).
Capable of standing for long stretches of time
and working at heights (on rooftops, climb ladders and stairs)
Ability to safely handle tools and materials
commonly found in construction and solar industries, such as: ladders,
inverters, solar panels, panel boards and other similar electrical equipment.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative
working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including but
not limited to peers and customers.
Regular, reliable and predictable performance
required
Strong focus on customer service
Must be at least 18 years of age
Reliable transportation to and from work
