We want Commercial and Residential Journeyman Technicians to join our TEAM!
Jim’s A/C, Inc. is a HVAC Residential and Commercial Contractor based in the Central Valley. Our office is based out of Chowchilla, California and we service customers from the Central Valley up to the Peninsula area.
Responsibilities:
Principles and practices of Heating, Venting, Air Conditioning (HVAC) maintenance and repairs
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems in new build or renovation projects
Assemble and install metal ductwork
Assist in planning and designing of new installations of heating and air-conditioning systems
Maintain maintenance records as required by City, State, and EPA regulations
Test and troubleshoot your installations after completion
Effectively problem solve while in the field
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required
Meet regularly with the Project Manager to assess open items of concern
Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
Adhere to all policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of practical experience in HVAC installs and servicing
Basic understanding of building automation controls
Must be EPA Certified
Relevant certification (CPO, NATE) preferred
Sheet metal experience a plus!
Blueprint reading skills preferred
Ability to work as a Team and coach or provide guidance to fellow technicians
Excellent verbal communication skills
Effective organizational and time management skills
Push/pull/lift up to 50lbs
Competent in the proper use of hand and electrical tools
Positive and professional work ethic
Dependable and punctual
California Driver’s License
