We are looking to hire a Commercial Project Manager to join our TEAM!

Jim’s A/C, Inc. is a HVAC Residential and Commercial Contractor based in the Central Valley. Our office is based out of Chowchilla, California and we service customers from the Central Valley up to the Peninsula area.

Responsibilities:

Fully oversee commercial and residential HVAC projects from start to finish, including but not limited to

costs, schedules, safety, quality, and Client relations from planning, through construction, project deliverables and turnover, demobilization, and clean up

Walk job sites regularly, maintaining strong working relationships with the field crew and clients.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously

Inspect the job sites for contract compliance, workmanship, and safety

Communicate and coordinate with general contractors, owners, architects, etc.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems

Establish project cost control tracking of material, labor, and miscellaneous costs

Timely review, process, submission, and approvals of RFI's and Change Orders

Develop and track the project schedule and material deliveries to coincide with project progress billings

Must be able to complete jobs on time and under budget

Review plans, contracts, submittals, and other project documentation

Effectively problem solve while in the field

Meet regularly with the Project Team to assess open items of concern and assist in developing solutions and plans

Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.

Adhere to all policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years previous experience in Commercial HVAC management

Knowledge of California Building Code, Title 24 and Mechanical code is a must

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Effective organizational and time management skills

Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Project

Must be EPA Certified

Relevant certification (CPO, NATE) preferred

Sheet metal experience a plus!

Positive and professional work ethic

Ability to mentor and coach fellow technicians

Dependable and punctual
