Production Supervisor

Our company is located in Central California and manufactures food products which are sold domestically and internationally. Products are packed for retail and bulk sales. We are looking for someone to assist our Plant Manager in the day to day operation of the plant. Position requires min. of 3 years of experience working as a level 2 supervisor in a food processing plant. Experience in concentrate manufacturing, PET bottling line, canning line, is essential. College degree or related experience required. Salary is negotiable and base on experiences.

Job Summary:

The primary responsibilities is for overseeing the production line operation. Abilities and Skills to set up, start up all production lines which is the Bottle Filling, Processors, Juice and Concentrate. The roll is consistently managing multiple priorities across shop floor. There is a high degree of movement and decision making that affects Safety, Quality, and Performance Has the ability to speak both English and Spanish.

Job Content

Must have unique skill set and be able to supervise employees.

Hands on repair, adjust and troubleshoot equipment.

Perform varieties of operation functions with the mechanical aptitude.

Work either Day or night shifts depending on the Requirements.

Will ensure all operations have the proper training require to understand the safety, and quality functions of their job requirements.

Provide recommendation to input with performance evaluations and disciplinary process

Keep track of Attendance on a daily basis Identifies non-conformance and make corrections as necessary.

Work with Operation manager and Maintenances to identify Safety, quality and Performance issues.

Ensure adherences to proper GMP and PPE requirements

Maintain cleanliness through good housekeeping practices. Develop appropriate programs in areas needed improvements.

Minimum Requirements

Previous Manufacturing Experiences

BA/BS In Business Management

Strong Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes

Proficiency in Microsoft Programs

Demonstrate the ability to coach, train team members, as well as plan monitor and schedule work

Demonstrate ability to analysis and resolve problems.
