GENERAL INFORMATION:
Work Schedule: Full -Time, Non-Exempt
Pay Rate: $20-$30 / hour based on experience and skills.
Hill View Packing is a well-established, privately held fruit processing manufacturer known for their superior quality. We are seeking multiple full time evaporation operator and evaporation supervisor positions to join our industrial operations team at our processing plant located in Gustine, CA.
The evaporation operator / supervisor will run the evaporation systems within the industrial operations department (Cook Tanks, Evaporators, Flash Cooler, Chiller and Holding Tanks) and assist the evaporation supervisor in day-to-day operations. Responsible for operating, sanitation and performing maintenance on machinery as required.
Position is located in Gustine, CA, and reports to control room supervisor or manager.
Responsibilities:
Must ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices Policy (GMP's), Safety and Health Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) regulations are being followed.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) when performing Cleaning In Place (CIPs) and operating machinery.
Ensures products being produced by Evaporators and the Flash Cooler meet the specifications according to the Manufacture Standard Practices (MSP).
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and record all necessary documentation.
Accountability #1: Evaporation Operator / Evaporation Supervisor
Knowledge in the operation of control room systems and evaporation equipment preferred.
Must be mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot equipment.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English satisfactorily to perform essential duties.

We are seeking to fill both day and evening shift positions. However, there are occasional weekends as required. There are frequent long hours and occasionally a six or seven day work period.
Must be able to safely operate a forklift.
Housekeeping is a priority in order to provide a safe, clean and organized work environment.
