We look for Technical Program Managers who have a strong technical foundation and are natural motivators, cross-functional relationship builders, and champions for driving the right level of process to ensure smooth and predictable program execution in a fast-paced innovative environment. This position is open to recent grads, engineers looking to make a career change, and candidates with tangential experience who are looking to move into TPM. This position will be remote until at least July 1, 2021.

Responsibilities Partner with the Product Design Engineering and cross-functional TPMs enabling the definition and execution of next generation hardware program Create development, delivery, and qualification schedules based on system requirements, technical challenges, lead-times and business needs Manage communication within and between internal cross functional and external partners Develop milestone schedule, communicate program statuses, and identify/address potential setbacks. Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and technology development processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment to ensure on time delivery Manage delivery of hardware for the development builds and ensure qualification to meet mass production timelines Coordinate and drive engineering deliverables, including specifications, DOE and validation plans Ensure program documents are complete, current and available for staff and leadership review Contribute to resource planning to ensure program success and objectives are met Up to 20% travel (after July 2021)Minimum Qualifications BS in Mechanical Engineering field or equivalent experience 5+ years experience working as a technology development program manager for consumer electronics or equivalent experience Knowledge of phase gate approach to technology development projects Experience with mechanical system development, FATP and sub-assembly BOM, design for manufacturing, tooling, validation and characterization processes Excellent communication, strategic thinking, planning skills, and attention-to-detail Knowledge of program and issue tracking and version control software Able to maintain a positive attitude, be a source of team morale, composed and effective in a fast-paced dynamic environmentPreferred Qualifications 2+ years experience working in a mechanical engineering field preferred A quick learner with high potentials who operates autonomously across multiple teams and projects with minimal supervision
