As a caregiver/companion you will be part of a cherished team.Non-Medial assistance for a woman whosedisabilities are supported with our complete care.
You will help to ensure her safety, comfort, and well-being by working closely with the client and IHSS who will actively supervise her care in her home and support the caregiving steps as you learn to anticipate her needs. You and her other caregivers will share best practices to create and maintain a cooperative work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning, shopping and preparing meals.
Showering.
Laundry and housekeeping.
Supporting her with spontaneous and planned activities to enjoy at home and in the community.
Driving (optional but a plus). With an excellent driving record and confident driving skills, you may take her out for activities and medical appointments in her vehicle, pick up medications.
Maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Communicating effectively with her and other caregivers to ensure her needs are met.
