We are a family owned restaurant of hospitality professionals with over 30 years of experience operating a fast paced high volume Seafood & and Steak Restaurant, Fresh Fish House and Local Marketplace located in the heart of Downtown Ukiah.
We are looking for an experienced cook/hospitality professional with at least 5 years of line cooking experience. You must possess a strong background in sauté. You will be working with the executive chef to prepare and create recipes. Some of the key duties and responsibilities include:
- Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
- Preparing food including cleaning and cutting ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and family meal
- Plating prepared foods based on Chef's standards
- Working with expeditors, servers & management to ensure orders are completed according to prep and cooking times
- Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
- Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
