Job Description:
As a Class B Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of paper products to our customers. This dynamic role involves both driving and warehouse responsibilities, making it ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, stage, load, and unload deliveries of paper products to various customers throughout Southern California.
Safely operate company vehicles to deliver cases and/or pallets of paper to schools, distributors, resellers, and businesses.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization, including staging orders and performing routine warehouse maintenance tasks.
Receive, unload, and properly store incoming inventory items as needed.
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and uphold the professional image of Liberty Paper.
Adhere to all company safety protocols and regulations while driving and working in the warehouse.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and perform vehicle maintenance tasks, such as refueling and periodic check-ups.
Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining forklift and warehouse equipment as required.
Requirements:
Ability to lift or move heavy products, with a minimum lifting requirement of 50 lbs.
Previous experience in customer engagement, sales, and/or delivery preferred.
Valid Class B driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Valid forklift certification and proficiency in forklift operation.
Strong team player with excellent organizational skills.
Outstanding driving skills with a thorough knowledge of Southern California roadways.
Effective communication skills and attention to detail.
