Busy general contractor has an immediate position available for an experienced electrician/low voltage electrician.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
-Perform work required to construct and install electrical systems for new construction projects
- Installs fixtures, wiring conduits, and other electrical equipment
- Installs various low voltage endpoints in rough (access points, cameras, etc.)
- Installs and wires low voltage cabling (fire alarm, ethernet etc.)
- Inspects circuits for specified shielding and grounding
- Be able to run all electrical wiring as per plans and specifications
- Experience with low-voltage installations and testing
- Performs all job duties following all established safety standards
- Able to test all equipment and get the City of Los Angeles inspector's approval.
Requirements
- Clean and Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Thorough knowledge of the electrical trade and construction.
- Work independently without supervision
- Have own tools
- Able to read instructions and follow safety rules and regulations
- Certifications a plus
- Fire alarm experience a plus
- A/V experience a plus
