Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lathe Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in programming dual spindle live tooling lathes as well as standard 3-axis lathes, with a strong background in CNC machining and a keen eye for detail. As a Lathe Programmer, you will play a critical role in our production process, ensuring that our machines operate efficiently and produce high-quality aerospace components.

Responsibilities:

Program and operate dual spindle live tooling lathe (Doosan Puma 2600 SYII) and standard 3-axis lathes (Haas) to produce precision aerospace components.

Develop and optimize CNC programs for new and existing parts.

Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to create accurate machine programs.

Set up and operate CNC lathes, ensuring proper tooling and fixturing.

Perform machine adjustments and troubleshooting to maintain production quality.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes.

Conduct first article inspections and make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.

Maintain accurate documentation of programs, setups, and tooling.

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Lathe Programmer, specifically with dual spindle live tooling lathes and standard 3-axis lathes.

Proficiency in CNC programming and machining techniques.

Strong understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.

Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, GibbsCam).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree is a plus.
