Jennie Kwon Designs, a Los Angeles based jewelry designer, is seeking a highly organized and efficient bench jeweler to join us. They will work closely with our head bench jeweler to produce in-house jewelry orders. We are looking for an individual who is sharp, confident, quick with their hands, and great on a team!
Responsibilities include:
- Basic bench jewelry production including cleaning castings, soldering, polishing, etc, with a heavy focus on casting clean-up.
- Maintain a highly-organized, detail-oriented, and proactive routine
- Consistently deliver pieces with a short turnaround time
- Maintain a clean workspace and follow safety protocols
Our ideal candidate:
- At least 1-year experience in jewelry production preferable but willing to train the right candidate.
- Be flexible and open to doing a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Must be an independent worker with excellent communication skills who is eager to take on responsibility with a personal sense of accountability
- Experience using a laser welder a plus!
- Be flexible to increase hours during the holiday production period
