Established General Contractor based in Van Nuys is seeking an experienced Project Manager for residential and commercial projects throughout the Los Angeles area. The ideal candidate
-Must have construction management experience
-Must know how to read blue prints
-Must be organized and detail oriented
-Must be capable of meeting deadlines, self-motivated
-Must be able to lead a construction team
-Proficient in Microsoft Office, ProCore and QuickBooks a plus
-Fluent in English, Spanish is a plus
-Able to pass drug test & background check
Job Description:
-Work with Subcontractors, Vendors, Clients, Architects, Engineers, Designers, Office and In-house Construction Team to ensure projects are planned for, coordinated, and completed on schedule and budget
-Management of projects from start to finish
-Pre-planning, scheduling, contract administration, client / sub / vendor relationships
-Requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills
-Requires understanding project specifications, quantity takeoffs, and material knowledge
-Assist in bidding new projects, qualifying subcontractor bids, vendor material quotes, and progress billing
-Creating meeting agendas and leading weekly OAC (Owner / Architect / Contractor) meetings
-Jobsite meetings
-Submitting RFIs and RFPs
-Submittals and finish schedule management
-Change Order recognition, pricing and negotiating
-Close out packages
