Documentary Seeking Anonymous Interviews With Hollywood Assistants

California, Los angeles, 90001 Los angeles USA

Vacancy caducado!

A short documentary is seeking to interview CURRENT Hollywood assistants about their experience.

Please do not apply if you were formerly an assistant, but are no longer working in that capacity.

The documentary is meant to be an unfiltered collage of assistant perspectives on topics ranging from workplace abuse, to fair pay, to each person's unique journey and hopes for their own careers. The goal of the film is to paint an accurate picture of the assistant position today, as well as connect on a deeper level with the people who make up the industry's vital, and all too often under-appreciated front line.

-Interviews will be conducted and recorded over the phone, and the final presentation of the interviews will be anonymous, to the degree that the interviewee wishes to conceal their identity. Details like real name, employer, or any other identifying information will be censored.

-Interviewees will have the option of consenting to use of recorded interview (disguised or unaltered) in the final film, or replacement by a voice actor to further ensure complete anonymity.

-Applicants should be currently employed at a talent agency, management company, studio, or production company.

-Applicants should be prepared and willing to speak candidly about their experience.

-Payment is $100 for a 2-hour phone call period.
