Join our team of dedicated to delivering exceptional bodywork and facial treatments at the Sanctuary Spa at the Palisades. Be a part of a growing movement of healing and wholeness in a luxury spa setting.

We seek individuals with CAMTC certification or Massage License. We will train in our signature treatments and body treatments. We prefer massage experience but welcome new graduates or CAMTC certification. We are hiring 6 massage therapists in part-time or full-time positions. We promote professional development with our unique treatment offerings.

Compensation: base hourly/commission/tip (can potentially make $50-$70 an hour)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Candidates must be willing to work a minimum of 20-25 hours per week.

You will need to be able to work 2-3 closing shifts and at least 1 weekend shift.

Demonstrate empathetic, welcoming, and warm attitude to guests.

Communicates in an articulate manner and possess a pleasant demeanor with guests and the spa team.

Perform professional 60, 75, and 90-minute massage treatments in various modalities such as relaxing Swedish style, therapeutic, deep pressure, and prenatal. Enhancement treatments include hand/foot scrubs, scalp massage, and body treatments.

Effectively inform and educate our guests about specific wellness concerns.

Attend meetings and trainings in new techniques or treatments.

Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.

Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.

Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures.

Perform prep work, properly clean and restock room as required.

Actively promote the spa, treatments, services and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.

Possess the ability to work proactively and without direct supervision.

Ability to work in a team setting environment.

Handle guests issues and concerns professionally and courteously.

Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring guest satisfaction.

Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.

Assist when needed in other areas of the spa as requested by management.
