At Cutting edge Barbershop we have two locations 1 in Palmdale, 1 in Lancaster. We are currently looking for licensed barbers at our Lancaster location that has a lot of walk-ins and offers the opportunity to build your clientele. If interested message or call me at anytime so we can set up a meeting in person or a call.
If you are looking for more of an appointment only barbershop and work at your own pace our Palmdale shop can accommodate that as well.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced to join our team at our Barbershop. As a barber, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair styling and barber services to our clients. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about the barber industry and enjoys working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Duties:
- Provide a wide range of hair styling services, including cutting, and styling
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and shaving
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Recommend appropriate hair care products to clients
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to salon policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their satisfaction
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a in a barbershop, salon or similar setting
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of barbering techniques and the use of straight razors is a plus
- Must be able to mentor junior stylists and provide guidance when needed
