Grand Illusions Hair & Wellness established for 21 years, is looking for a positive, professional, and to join our supportive, drama-free team of hair artists. We value autonomy and the joy of our craft, offering a welcoming, chill, boho-industrial vibe in a community-driven space.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate is a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a creative environment. You’ll assist the Owner, greet & direct all clients, and help maintain the salon’s welcoming atmosphere and overflow from fellow stylists.
Salon Assistant/Greeter
Responsibilities:
Greet and check in clients
Assist Owner with hair preparation, shampoos, and general support (BlowDry, Curling, etc.)
Maintain cleanliness in the salon, including sweeping, sanitizing stations, and laundry
Offer refreshments to clients
Requirements:
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Ability to multitask in a busy environment
Availability for part-time hours, including weekends
Previous salon experience is a plus, but not required
CA State board of cosmetology license

Requirements:
CA State board of cosmetology as an independent beauty professionals
At least 2-3 years of experience behind the chair in a salon setting

All utilities and workstation with styling chair
Access to lunchroom, outdoor patio, and small personal storage
Towels, back bar, washer/dryer on-site, and WiFi
Free parking and refreshments for clients (coffee, tea, water, wine)
