Job Title: Senior Web Developer, Senior Front End Engineer, Senior Full Stack Web Developer
IMPORTANT:
This is for a position in July/August of 2025 pending funding of a grant by the National Science Foundation. We are looking for several developers ASAP (to add to our proposal) and to join the project pending funding. There is no legal commitment in case you are not available in 2025.
About Us:
Stealth Deep Tech start-up building next generation SaaS presentation tool (something like Canva and PowerPoint) to accelerate learning and teaching of complex topics.
THE BASICS:
You must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
Location: All work must be done on-site in West LA (90049).
Start Date: July/August of 2025 pending funding of NSF Grant
Daily Schedule: Flexible; you may set your own schedule as long it is consistent.
Compensation: $8-12K / month (plus stock) depending on experience and portfolio.
This is a full-time position with an employee agreement (W-2).
Duration: 4 years (and longer pending additional funding)
A) Technical skills
8+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on building scalable single page web applications.
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React.js.
Experience with TypeScript and its use in large-scale applications.
Experience with state management libraries like Redux or MobX.
Familiarity with build tools and bundlers like Webpack, Babel, or similar.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and how to interface with them.
Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or similar.
Solid grasp of CSS Grids and Flexbox to create complex layouts.
Solid grasp of best practices to improve browser performance.
Ability to write clear, modular, and well-documented code.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
B) Impressive portfolio with experience showcasing a SaaS product for creators (e.g., a presentation tool, website builder, a form builder, diagramming tool, Canva like tool, etc.)
C) Soft skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Self-motivated, professional, team player, polite, nonconfrontational, problem-solver
Ethical - comfortable with NDAs and handling confidential and proprietary information
Good personal hygiene, presentable to potential investors and other team members
