We are looking for an experienced patient coordinator to join our practice. The ideal candidate will be able to provide concierge-level service from the first phone call, through consultation, surgery and beyond. Our specialty is breast cancer surgery (mastectomy, lumpectomy etc.); our office provides full-service for women's breast health including radiology imaging such a mammography and breast ultrasound.
The practice provides the highest standards of patient care and customer service. The successful candidate reflects the high quality of the practice in terms of professional appearance, demeanor, and education. Kindness and empathy are important, and candidates must have outstanding leadership, organizational, and relationship building skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years in a patient care coordinator role
Strong sales background
In depth knowledge of in and out-of-network insurance billing (5+ years’ experience)
Ability to explain out-of-network billing practices to patients
Proficient in Word, Outlook & Excel
Ability to run reports and track data
Ability to work independently and as an extension of our skilled and highly trained team
A ‘can-do’ attitude and willing to jump in to assist with additional tasks
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree
