We are seeking experienced Armed Security Officers with a proven background in working within school settings and Jewish institutions. Our goal is to maintain a secure, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and patrol the facilities to ensure safety and security.
Enforce safety policies and respond promptly to emergencies.
Assist students, staff, vendors, and visitors with any security-related concerns.
Utilize our visitor management system to track vendors, guests, and parents.
Monitor security cameras and alarms to detect and resolve potential security risks.
Ensure all security procedures are followed while maintaining a positive environment.
Flexibility to work extended hours with an ever-changing schedule, including overtime, days and mid-shifts, holidays, and weekends as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid California Guard Card and Exposed Firearms Permit are required.
Baton, Pepper Spray, and Taser certifications are optional.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
Candidate Will Have:
Experience in a school or educational environment.
Experience in a Jewish institution setting.
A strong commitment to safety, vigilance, and community engagement.
