We are a busy commercial property management company seeking a full-time Receptionist/Assistant Property Manager. We prefer someone who is looking for a long-term career in property management and lives close to the area. This position may have the opportunity to be promoted to Property Manager.
Job Description:
Answer phones, transfer calls to the appropriate tenant
Sort mail, make coffee
Investigate and help to resolve tenant complaints
Place maintenance requests and ensure all work orders are processed in a timely fashion
Enforce property/company rules and regulations
Draft correspondence to tenants and vendors
Contact tenants regarding late rent, collections and past due invoices
Create 3-Day Notices, Invoices and tenant notices
Send out monthly statements
Process move-ins and move-outs
Maintain tenant contact information
Deposit checks / accounts receivables and maintain deposit log
Process invoices / accounts payables
Collect certificates of insurance from tenants and vendors
Manage janitorial supply inventory and orders
Place material orders for property renovation projects
Coordinate vendor schedules
Request and review proposals, meeting with vendors as needed
Unlock doors as needed for tenants and vendors
Maintain marketing postings and assist in creating marketing material
Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, filing and collating.
Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies.
Assist in other projects and day-to-day activities for the property manager
Driving to other properties and bank as needed by the property manager
Other administrative duties as necessary
Qualifications:
Driver’s license and auto insurance is required
Bachelor’s degree is a plus
Interest/ability to acquire a California real estate license
At least 1+ year experience of Assistant Property Manager level preferred
DRE licensee highly desired
Office experience is a plus
Ability to multi-task
Computer proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Strong organizational skills
Able to contact tenants regarding late rent, collections and past due invoices
Ability to communicate professionally with vendors, tenants and associate
Must have ability to work independently without supervision and collaboratively when needed

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
