Great opportunity in a quiet building and amazing location. This Resident Manager position is for a 58 unit property in Sherman Oaks. As compensation, Resident Manager receives a free 2 bedroom unit plus a large salary and utilities. In order to properly fulfill the duties of Resident Manager, you are required to live at the property as a condition of employment. Prior resident manager experience is required.
Responsibilities:
Handling the day-to-day operations of the community
Overseeing rent collection and expense control
Monitoring and driving rental activity including traffic and move-ins
Scheduling vendors and overseeing repairs and maintenance requirements of the community
Walking the property to ensure it meets the company’s standards, including curb appeal and cleanliness
Perform other functions/tasks as the position requires
Requirements:
3 years experience as a Property Manager
Working knowledge of AppFolio or equivalent Property Management Software
Working knowledge of online marketing tools including Zillow
A High School diploma or equivalent.
Team-player and strong communication skills
Working knowledge of Fair Housing
