Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Compensation: $45,000 per year
Monthly HOA Meetings: Required attendance (additional 2 hours after work hours)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HOA Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our homeowners' association (HOA) in Koreatown. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HOA management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and manage community operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operations Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HOA, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
Maintain and enforce HOA rules, regulations, and policies.
Address resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Financial Coordination:
Collaborate with the external financial management group to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.
Relay important financial messages, updates, and notices to residents as needed.
Assist in reviewing financial reports and budgets provided by the financial management group.
Vendor and Maintenance Coordination:
Coordinate and oversee maintenance, repairs, and landscaping for common areas.
Source, negotiate with, and manage vendors and contractors.
Ensure all work is completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Monthly HOA Meetings:
Lead and attend monthly HOA meetings to present community reports, financial updates, and operational updates.
Address questions and concerns from board members and residents during meetings.
Document meeting minutes and follow up on action items.
Compliance and Record-Keeping:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to HOAs.
Maintain accurate records of HOA documents, including bylaws, meeting minutes, and contracts.
Community Engagement:
Foster positive relationships with residents, board members, and vendors.
Organize and promote community events and initiatives to enhance resident engagement.
Emergency Response:
Act as the primary point of contact for emergencies or urgent issues within the community.
Coordinate timely responses to emergencies, such as maintenance or security concerns.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in HOA property management.
Strong knowledge of HOA operations, rules, and regulations.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
Ability to lead meetings and present reports confidently.
Familiarity with vendor management and maintenance coordination.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle conflicts diplomatically.
