Small Trucking Company located in Downey, CA offering a Full-Time position as an Office Assistant/ Dispatcher.
EXPERIENCE, REQUIREMENTS, and QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE is not required. Willing to train the right candidate.
Candidate must interact with the PORTs of Long Beach and Los Angeles, EMODAL, scheduling Container Appts, Pier-Pass, On-going monitoring of pick-up and drop of all containers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries, providing either written or oral updates to customers.
Candidate must be able to Dispatch drivers via phone/text, track Delivery Orders of containers, bill delivery orders and provide invoice statements to customers if required. Manage all administrative paperwork and fillings.
Candidate must be available M-F, 8:00AM to 5:00 PM, Occasional weekends, when required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook email.
Superior written and oral communications skills. Ability to communicate in a respectful manner at all times.
Punctual, Responsible, Honest, Detail-Oriented, and Organized.
Pro-active, eager, and willing to learn.
Must be Bilingual - English & Spanish
Strong critical thinking, problem solving and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
