Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for automotive repair and team management? We're looking for an experienced Estimator to join our growing body shop team.
Key Responsibilities:
As a full-service automotive collision repair facility, we work with all insurance companies to provide quality service and repairs.
Body Shop Estimator Responsibilities:
Submit EOR, supplements and final bills in a timely manner.
Documents and track vehicle progress throughout the entire repair process.
Takes clear and accurate photos of damages.
Accurately report vehicle symptoms as described by the customer.
Prepare comprehensive and precise estimates for labor and parts costs.
Pre-close files for delivery.
Set expectations with customers regarding the timeline for repairs.
Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order.
Provide clear explanations of completed work and associated charges to customers.
Maintain high-quality standards and ensure compliance with safety procedures
Communicate effectively with peers, insurance reps, and vendors
Drive continuous improvement in efficiency and performance
Requirements:
Proven experience in a body shop or collision repair facility as an estimator
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Knowledge of estimating systems (CCC One, Mitchell, etc.) a plus
Must have experience in writing estimates for high end vehicles and writing jigs.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
BODYSHOP EXPERIENCE IS A MUST
Bilingual (English & Spanish)
